Victory For Eire Óg In League Clash With Eoghan Ruadh

Eire Og and Dungannon played out an entertaining contest on Tuesday evening which saw Eire Og claim the points courtesy of a last minute goal and point .

The game started in typical tense fashion with neither side giving away much . Eire Og though grabbed a goal to get ahead and pushed further in front with points from Aidy Kelly, Justy Kelly and Oisin Daly saw them reach the break leading by six.

The home side continued to control the game until a Turlough Mullan goal sparked Eoghan Ruaidh into life. This was followed by a Tiernan Morgan goal from a penalty and points from Josh Ferguson and Dwyer Nolan put Dungannon into the lead as the game entered the last few minutes . There was no sense of panic from either side but Eire Óg displayed great composure to hit a goal and a point which was enough to retake the lead and secure the win .
