Markey Cup holders Holy Trinity College Cookstown made a winning start to the defence of their title with a convincing win over old rivals St Ciaran’s Ballygawley today at Dunmoyle. James Mc Gahan landed the first of Holy Trinity’s goals before substitute Gavin Corey came off the bench to find the net twice for the Cookstown lads. Declan Mc Clure was on target with a few points for the winners while Sean and Luke Hackett were among the point scorers for St Ciarans.
