The Carrickmore Eire Óg man has the wonderful honour of competing in both the senior hurling and senior football championship finals during 2014. Aidan played at midfield on the Eire Óg side the wrestled back the Benburb Cup from their fierce rivals Eoghan Ruadh. Aidan has become the one of the most accurate free takers in the county but he is also one of the more energetic players in the Eire Óg side covering huge distances throughout the game and helping out wherever required.
