There can be little argument that Sean Hurson has been one of the top three referees in Tyrone in 2014. He had an excellent county final and has been the model of consistency throughout the season. His application of the rules regardless of the teams or personalities involved has been recognised not only within the county but at provincial and national level in 2014. This marks a first ever Referee of the Year nomination for Sean.
