St Mary’s College and UUJ both recorded 1st Round Sigerson Cup wins this afternoon.
Donegal man Paddy McBrearty was in fantastic form for this year’s Sigerson Cup hosts as he fired 1-6 in the game against the Garda College. UUJ were reduced to 14 men in the opening half when Rory Brennan picked up a straight red card.
St Mary’s College also joined UUJ in round two when they defeated Dublin Institute of Technology 1-11 to 2-6 after an extra time win at Garvaghey.
