Tyrone’s U-18 county squad are gearing up for an Ulster quarter-final tie with Cavan tomorrow(Nov 18th), writes Damien Donnelly.

Donagh St Patrick’s is the venue(12.30pm) as Red Hand and Breffni sides tussle for a place in the semi-finals.

It’s been tough going these past few seasons for Tyrone in Ulster vocational circles as the likes of Monaghan and Donegal have been progressing to the latter stages.

Cavan are no slouches either, backboned by players from Virginia College and other prominent seats of learning.

Brian McGuckin, Declan O’Neill and Richard Thornton are at the Tyrone management helm, with managers and players all anticipating a serous test in Donagh.

Tyrone U-16 and U-14 competitions, meanwhile, are getting down near to the finals in both sections. Resullts’/fixtures below.
