The bad weather has returned with a vengeance and has wiped out the plans for almost all GAA activity this weekend. The Ulster Minor Hurling league game against Monaghan scheduled for today has been cancelled as has today’s Coaching Conference and Development Squad Trials.

Minor Hurling manager Declan Bennett and company will be hoping for more favourable conditions next weekend, when they are due to host Donegal, at the same venue. A new date for today’s postponed fixture will be announced in due course.

The Under 16 Trials scheduled for Augher on Sunday morning are on at present but could change depending on the weather. Most of the Under 14 league programme planned for today has also been postponed and it is hoped to have those games rearranged for tomorrow afternoon.
