1. What are your earliest GAA memories?
Going to Clones with my da and uncle for Tyrone games.
2. How much time do you give over to the GAA each week? What does an average week look like?
Would be out 4/5 times a week with managing our u16s to gym work and then my own training with the senior team.
3. What is your favourite GAA venue?
Croke Park.
4. School participation and/or success?
Won a couple of Ulster medals with St. Patrick’s Academy Dungannon.
5. Club/County role models that you looked up to as a youth.
Club role model would be Brian McGuckin, county role model would have been Conor Gormley.
6. Other sports that you played at or had an interest in.
Play a bit of soccer in the winter months to keep me ticking over.
7. Most difficult opponent you have faced in club football and why?
Johnny lafferty of Urney. He is tough to mark because he can take the ball in high or low along with being strong and quick, not a bad left foot either.
8. Best player you have ever seen play Gaelic Football.
Ciaran McDonald Mayo.
9. Are you happy enough to see the restart of club and county activities?
Yeah looking forward to it all kicking off again, keep the boys off the beer for a few weekends !!!!!!!!
10. What was the best GAA match you ever saw?
Tyrone vs Armagh 2005 Ulster final first game.
11. Are you a fan of Development Squads and Academies? Why?
Yeah I am because in my own experience they developed me into a better player. Also getting to play with the top players in your county will only improve you.
12. What is your own current role and involvement about the club? Involved in a bit of coaching, managed our u14s and U16s last year and continued on with the U16s again this year.
13. How important is the GAA within your own community?
Massively important as Edendork is a small club so we are all very close knit community and the GAA is great for bringing us all together.
14. Favourite county jersey outside of Tyrone ? Offaly.
15. Finally, what are the qualities that make you the footballer you are today Conor?
Quick and strong but my biggest strength would be my discipline.!!!!!
