Well Done To Killeeshil On Their League Title And Promotion

Killeeshil made an immediate return to the ranks of Intermediate football following a hard earned win over Dungannon Clarkes in the last league match of the season. Playing at home the St Mary’s had looked to be in total control at half time as they led by five points but The Clarkes showed great heart and determination to narrow the gap to a single point midway through the second half but Killeeshil’s greater experience and physicality helped them shade it in the end.
They now have a great chance of doing a league and championship double but will get a stern examination of their credentials when they face old rivals Aghaloo in next weekend’s quarter final. In the meantime however they can enjoy the fruits of victory and celebrate being league champions for 2011.
