Wins For Edendork, Derrylaughan,Eskra And Beragh At U21 Level
U21 football took centre stage this afternoon with four games played. Edendork are into the grade one final after beating Cookstown 4-14 to 1-19 in a thriller that required extra time to decide. Niall Morgan hit 3-4 for the winners with Owen O’Rourke getting their other goal. James McGahan top scored for the Father Rocks with eight points with Tom Mullan getting their goal.
The grade two final will be between Derrylaughan and Eskra after they got past Dungannon and Ardboe respectively. Liam Gervin led the way in the scoring stakes for the Kevin Barrys with James Kennedy and Mark Robinson getting their goals. Colm Corrigan and Keifer Morgan found the net for the Clarkes as it finished 2-15 to 2-6.
Eskra shaded the verdict again Ardboe 0-11 to 0-10 with Thomas Meegan, Aaron Kelly and Conor O’Hagan among the points for the Emmetts, Shay McGuigan, Barry Devlin and Michael Lynn supplying points for Ardboe. In the grade three final Beragh defeated Loughmacrory 2-7 to 1-8 to take the silverware. Eddie Molloy and Hugh Franey got the Red Knights goals with Christopher Devlin featuring among their points, Cormac Nugent with the Loughmacrory major with Kevin Collins and Niall Grimes claiming points.
