St.Patricks Academy Dungannon are through to the Corn na Og final after beating St.Pats Cavan in an entertaining clash at Tyholland on Monday afternoon. Goals from Ryan Coleman and Mark Quinn coupled with points from Cormac O’Hagan, Colin Campbell and Shea Gordon helped the Tyrone lads into a comfortable 2-9 to 1-5 halftime lead. In the second half the Cavan lads hit back and when Stephen Smith found the net it enabled them to close the gap to just three points. Dungannon were under pressure but a Mark Donnelly goal proved to be the insurance score as they emerged 3-13 to 2-10 winners to set up a repeat of last season’s Dalton Cup final against St.Pats Maghera.
