Impressive Win For Errigal 3rds
Errigal Thirds travelled down to Brackaville on Thursday evening to play the first match of this weekend’s scheduled league programme. No doubt the Dunmoyle lads were expecting a tough encounter from the Roes but with Brackaville struggling with numbers it was Errigal who held the upper hand throughout. Tiernan Colhoun had a night to remember bagging 3-3 for the winners while Dasher Mc Dermott and Sean Mc Cann also found the net for their team. Among the points for Errigal on what was an impressive display were Jody Farrell, Conor Mc Anenly, Ryan Cassidy and Emmett Hackett. A Brackaville side greatly weakened by Covid was down to the bare bones and found their opponents in uncompromising form on the night. Tiarnan Mc Glinchey hit the net for Brackaville while Rian Mc Hugh (0-3), Ronan Mc Hugh (0-1), Shea Fee (0-2), Conor Stock, Jason O’Neill and Dale Mc Sorley all contributed to the home side’s tally. Unfortunately for them it was nowhere near enough and Errigal finished 5-14 to 1-9 winners to record their third victory of the season.
