After seven rounds of games it’s Mattie McGuigan who leads the way in the chase for the Begleys Sports Golden Boot as the top scorer in the Intermediate league. The Kildress sharpshooter has already broken the fifty point barrier with an impressive 2-44 to his name. Rock’s Liam Nugent is five points behind him in second place with Ryan Mayse of Naomh Eoghan a further two points adrift. Tattyreagh’s James Darcy and Naomh Eoghan’s Aidan McSorley complete the top five.
