Brocagh Pip Errigal In tight Encounter

Tuesday night saw Brocagh entertain Errigal Ciaran Thirds in the All County League and in a tight game the Emmetts emerged victorious 1-9 to 1-8. That result brought to an end the recent fine run of victories for Errigal.
Donal Robinson hit the net in a closely fought first half for Brocagh. That goal proved to be the key score of the opening thirty minutes as the teams reached the break with Brocagh leading 1-3 to 0-4. Barry Donnelly, who finished the game with 0-4, bagged two of his team’s first half points while Mickey Hughes got the other.
Errigal came well into the game in the second half and a Caolan Tierney goal saw a significant change in momentum. Tierney finished the game with 1-5 while Ronan Tierney (2) and Pascal Donnelly (1) were also on target for the Dunmoyle lads.
Brocagh managed to see the game out to win by one with Niall Mc Closkey, Donal Robinson, Owen Canavan and Barry Donnelly all on target in the second half for the Emmetts.
