Clonoe made it four wins from four after a high scoring encounter at O’Rahilly Park. Fintan McClure bagged a brace of goals with Rhys Donnelly and Tommy Taggert also raising green flags, the latter contributing five points as well with Darragh McGrath grabbing four. Eugene Liam McCarroll and Aidan Donnelly got the Pearses goals with Aaron McCarney and Peter McGlinn landing a number of points between them.
It’s a full compliment of points for Eglish as well after they secured a victory away to neighbours Killeeshil. The on song Ethan Jordan once again top scored for the St.Patricks with his haul including four two pointers while Conor McCann, Colm Byrne and Conor Holmes were all on target as well. Packie McMullan top scored for the home side with 0-7 to his name with Michael Carty, Dillon O’Neill and Mark Monaghan on target as well.
Moy are a third side in Intermediate football with four out of four after they made home advantage count against Rock. Two second half goals from Declan Conroy and Eoin McGeary proved vital on the night. Michael Conroy kicked half a dozen points for the winners with McGeary and Diarmuid Quinn on target as well. Liam Nugent, Shane Murphy and Aidan McGarrity contributed a dozen points between them to the Rock cause.
Beragh made it three wins out of three when they just about managed to get the better of Greencastle at St.Marys Park. Conor Owens, Matthew McSorley, Oran Treacy and Oisin Donnelly were among the points for the Red Knights with the latter getting the winner. Enda Clarke scored both goals for Greencastle with points coming from Mark Carson and Tiernan Teague.
At the third time of asking Kildress got their first points of the campaign and they did it in style with a convincing win away to Stewartstown. Shea Quinn once again led the way in the scoring stakes for the Wolfe Tones with a haul in double figures with Corey Holland scoring two goals and Philip Lennon their other major with Tiarnan McNally and Eoin Brannigan also on target. Dan Lowe top scored for the Harps with 1-3 with Conor Quinn, Dylan McElhatton and Stephen Talbot on target as well.
Drumquin came out on top at home to Aghaloo in a battle between two promoted sides. Oisin Gormley was in outstanding form for the Wolfe Tones with his tally including 1-4 in the opening half. Finnucane Glackin got their other goal with Sean McDonagh weighing in with a couple of points. Tiernan Donnellyn top scored for Aghaloo with 0-7 to his name with Ruairi McGlone bagging their goal.
Owen Roes edged the verdict in an entertaining meeting with Aghyaran. Tony Devine and Peter Kirk got the goals for the winners with Cathal McShane in outstanding form hitting 0-9 in the first half alone on a night when Dara Dooher got a few scores as well. Ronan McNamee and Ronan McHugh were the goal scorers for the St.Davogs with Ethan McHugh, Benny Gallen and Eoghan McHugh suppling points.
