Celebrating Shaz On Saturday In Killyclogher

Wednesday 22.02.2012
Team Talk Mag
Club

This weekend sees the community of Killyclogher and the surrounding areas come out in support of one of their own as they gather to participate in a unique charity event. A cycle, run and walk all in memory of Sharlene Casement who passed away in late 2011 are taking place and already more than four hundred cyclists have registered to participate.

Sharlene was part of the Great Croke Park to Cappagh Cycle organised by the local club as well as being a keen follower of all GAA activities within the parish of Cappagh. Many of the members of the club are involved in the organisation of the event. All proceeds will be going to charity so if you fancy a bit of a challenge and wish to contribute to a very worthy cause, get yourself along to the Cappagh Parish Centre on Saturday at the appropriate time listed in the events section below.

Those wishing to enter for The Run or Cycle will be disappointed to hear that entries for those are now closed but you can still enter the 5km or 1km walk with registration from 12:30pm. Registration for both is £5:00.

Should anyone be interested in assisting in any way with Saturday’s events they can get all the necessary details by visiting celebratingshaz@gmail.com
