Ciaran Mc Ginley Out For A Month

New Tyrone recruit Ciaran McGinley has been effectively ruled out of the McKenna Cup after sustaining an injury on Thursday. The Errigal Ciaran clubman broke a toe while taking part in a training session with UUJ and while it will only keep him on the sidelines for three weeks it would mean that he would only be available for the Final should the Red Hands get there in defence of their title.
He will be back just in time for UUJ as they begin their quest for Sigerson Cup honours with a difficult trip away to UUC. McGinley was a key performer for his club as they ended a six year wait for senior championship glory in 2012 with his displays catching the eye of fellow Errigal Ciaran man Mickey Harte.
