Cookstown maintained their perfect start to the new season when they had a hard earned 0-12 to 0-10 win away to Augher with Owen Mulligan and John Gilmore among their points, Sean Hackett and Aidan McElroy on target for the St.Macartans.

Moy made it three wins out of three when they had a landslide win away to Killeeshil with Sean Cavanagh, Colm Cavanagh, Conal Duffy and Ryan O’Neill [2] getting their goals in a 5-14 to 0-5 win.

Strabane returned to winning ways when getting the better of Galbally at Sigerson Park. Gerard McCrossan got the only goal of the game as the hosts triumphed 1-8 to 0-8 with Paddy Roarty and Neil Hagan among the points for their respective sides.

Jarlath Quinn scored the only goal of the game with Kevin Armstrong and Kieran McGeary getting a brace of points each as Pomeroy defeated Aghyaran 1-9 to 0-7, Shane Sweeney and Aidan Connolly on target for the visitors.

Gareth Devlin scored both goals for Stewartstown as they comprehensively defeated Clann na Gael 2-11 to 1-2 on their home turf, county attacker Stephen O’Neill with the visitors’ major.

Loughmacrory made the short run across to Gortin and came away with a morale boosting 2-6 to 0-7 win over the hosts. Goals from Enda Ward and former county minor Niall Donaghy proved decisive for Ciaran Meenagh’s team in the final outcome as a Gortin side minus so many key players continues to struggle. Kevin Mossey last year’s Division Two top scorer hit all but one of his team’s scores.

Derrytresk got their first point of the year following an exciting finish to their game at home to Eskra. The hosts were 0-7 to a goal down at the break as the wind played havoc for both teams.  With ten minutes left Eskra led 0-8 to 1-1 and looked poised for victory but a Joe Mc Kee penalty drew the teams level  and at fourteen men aside following two sendings off there were chances to win it but a draw was a fair result. Derrytresk’s other scores came from Niall Gavin 1-0, and a point each from Ronan O’Neill, Liam Slater and Sean Slater.
