Division Two Wrap Up In Association With Castle Paving

The final game of the weekend in Division Two saw Owen Roes defeat Clogher 1-10 to 0-10 after trailing 0-7 to 0-5 at the break. Clogher’s first half scores came from Killian Berkey, Marc Mc Connell, Ryan Mc Caughey, Jamie Callaghan and Sean Bogue. The Eire Ógs seemed well placed at the break but struggled for scores after the restart. Clogher found scores hard to come by against a resolute Owen Roes with only goalkeeper Rory Mc Elroy, from a forty five, Marc Mc Connell and Ryan Mc Caughey were on target. Ronan Mc Nulty top scored for the north Tyrone lads with 1-4 while Stephen Kelly, Conn Tinney, Peter Kirk, Stephen Harper, Niall Mc Aleer and Conall Mc Cormack were all among the points for Owen Roes.

Clonoe made it two wins out of two but they had to pull out all the stops to get over the line away to neighbours Stewartstown. Connor McAliskey top scored for the O’Rahillys with 0-8 with Declan McClure and Ryan Quinn also on target while the Harps had points from Conor Quinn, Tiernan Rush and Anton Coyle.

 

Beragh also have a maximum return from their first two outings after they got the better of Strabane at St.Marys Park. Conor Owens led the way in the scoring stakes for the Red Knights with a goal as well as a few points with Martin Rodgers and Cathal Owens also on target. Haydn McNamee, Mark McAdams and Mark Roarty got the goals for the Sigersons.

 

Kildress had the minimum to spare over Gortin to continue their good start to the campaign. Shea Murphy, Matty McGuigan, Johnny Connolly and Philip Lennon all supplied points for the Wolfe Tones with Ciaran Brolly getting the Gortin goal and Sean Og McAleer and Liam Og Mossey raising white flags.

 

Its two from two for Aghyaran as well after a hard earned victory at Plunkett Park against Pomeroy. Benny Gallen and Ronan McHugh got the goals for the St.Davogs and both of them were also among the points as was Barry McMenamin. Ronan Duffin top scored for the Plunketts with Aidan Coyle and Ronan McKenna on target as well.

 

Derrylaughan collected their first points of the season thanks to a comprehensive win over Rock at the Loughshore. Tomas Carney was in blistering form for the Kevin Barrys with 1-9 to his name with Ciaran Quinn and James Donnelly their other goal scorers. Liam Nugent, Aidan McGarrity and Diarmuid Carroll had points for Rock.

 

Naomh Eoghan made the trip to play Moy and they returned home with a good point in the bag. Conor Langan got the only goal of the game for the visitors while Eoin Devine and Ryan Mayse provided points. Colm Cavanagh, Ryan Coleman and Jamie Coleman were all on the scoresheet for Moy.
