Dungannon Defeat Clogher.
The outstanding Division Three game of the weekend has resulted in a very convincing eight points win for Dungannon over Clogher on a scoreline of 1-15 to 1-7 as the visitors turned a four point lead at half time into a convincing win away from home.Things had been fairly close between the sides in the first half following Barry Mc Kenna’s goal and points from Mark Tierney and Cillian Barkey for Clogher while Kiefer Morgan, Conor Mc Ginn and Shane Treanor were on target for the Clarkes. Indeed with thirty minutes on the clock the sides were level Clogher 1-3, Dungannon 0-6 but in the two minutes of additional time the Clarkes managed to score 1-1 to edge four points ahead at the break. The visitors capitalised just before the short whistle on a poor defensive clearance to afford John Loughran the chance of a goal and the forward did not disappoint. The second half saw Dungannon maintain their grip on the game and in spite of three Mark Bogue scores for the home side further points from Kiefer Morgan 0-2 and Conan Morgan 0-3 ensured that the travelling fans headed home happy following their eight point win.
