Eglish ensured their senior status when a strong final twelve minutes saw them come from behind to beat Ardboe at Connolly Park.
The home side got the boost of an early Caolan Muldoon goal and Seamus Muldoon and Colm Byrne tagged on points. Ardboe finished the half strongly with points from David Mulgrew, Anthony Devlin and Daniel Quinn to leave just the minimum between them.
It was Ardboe’s turn to get an early goal in the half with Jeimi Muldoon the man on target as they move five clear. Eglish though hit back with a Dillon Horsfield goal and after Seamus Muldoon had levelled matters from play the same player converted two frees to win the day for the St.Patricks.
