Greencastle Prepares For Stephen’s Day Run.

The community of Greencastle is gearing up for much more than Christmas festivities over the next few days as the Annual St Stephen’s Day Run/Walk approaches. Organiser Oliver Mc Cullagh and his willing band of community activists have taken delivery of a new specialised timing system which they will activate this year to help them track the large number of athletes expected to attend. With fine weather forecast for the 26th a huge crowd is expected to assemble at the GAA Centre as the walkers and runners gather to enjoy the challenges of the undulating course and particularly the test that is “Conway’s Hill”.
