Hurlers Lose Out In Derby Clash

Tyrone hurlers found Donegal too hot to handle on Sunday when they lost out 1-15 to 2-23 after a fine display from the Tir Connail side.
Donegal started well and were nine points clear at the break leading 1-14 to 1-5. Damian Casey was once again top scorer on the day for Tyrone with 1-11 while Conor Grogan, Liam Armstrong, Lorcan Devlin and Matthew Mulgrew all hit a point apiece.
Donegal were not to be denied however and maintained their impressive lead throughout the second half before winning by eleven.
