Kevin Barrys Beat Neighbours

Derrylaughan played host to neighbours Moortown in division one on Thursday evening and the Kevin Barrys came from behind at the break to record a comfortable 2-14 to 2-7 win. Moortown led 0-4 to 0-3 at the break with Daniel Kelly and Liam Gervin getting a couple of points each for their respective sides. In the second half a Ciaran Quinn goal for Derrylaughan was quickly followed by a Moortown major from Ronan Devlin before the hosts added points through She Coney, Mark Robinson and Gervin. In injury time Peter Devlin got a second goal for the St.Malachys but that score was cancelled out moments later at the other end of the field by Ciaran Quinn.
