Kildress Keep the Pressure on Edendork

Kildress are hot on the heels of Edendork following a three point victory over Galbally in Gortacladdy this evening. The Wolf Tones led 0-6 to 0-2 at the break following first half scores from Conor McAleer, Aiden O’Connor, and Des Treacy. The two Galbally points came from Paul Rafferty and Declan Murphy.
Treacy, Frank McGurk and Matthew Heagney eased Kildress further ahead in the second period and it wasn’t until five minutes to go that Galbally recorded their first point of the second half through Ciaran Tally. The Pearse’s did stage a fight back in the closing stages but it was too little too late.
