Final whistle in Killyclogher.  Tyrone 0-11 Cork 2-10.  Jolene Donnelly and Valerie Mulcahy share the last two points of the game.  Cork were the better team in the second half but this was an excellent performance from the Tyrone girls.  If they can cut out the mistakes and get everyone back to full fitness they’ll be a match for anyone in the championship.

Five minute left and its now Cork 2-9 Tyrone 0-10.  Jolene Donnelly had a wonderful chance to reduce Cork’s lead but Elaine Harte in the Rebels goals pulled off a wonderful save.

18 minutes gone in the second half and another point each for both sides.  Lycrecia Quinn added one on for Tyrone but that was quickly cancelled out by Valerie Mulcahy.  Tyrone were well in the game prior to the two mistakes in defence.  Aisling O’Kane has just been replaced by Catriona McGahan on the Tyrone team.

GOAL – Another Cork goal.  Tyrone’s defence make another error and Rhina Buckley makes no mistake.   She slots it into the bottom left hand corner of the Tyrone net.  Tyrone 0-9 Cork 2-7.  Less than 15 minutes to go.

Tyrone fight back to within a point.  A free from Gemma Begley and a point from Cathy Donnelly have reduced Cork’s lead to just a point.  Tyrone 0-9 Cork 1-7

Ten minutes gone in the second half and Cork are now three points up.  They scored the first point through Rhina Buckley and shortly afterwards Valerie Mulcahy made the most of a misplaced pass from Maura Kelly to fire to the Tyrone net.   Tyrone 0-7 Cork 1-7

Thirty nine minutes gone in the first half and Tyrone are really starting to apply the pressure.  Nollag Cleary put Cork 0-5 to 0-4 ahead but Tyrone forward line have upped their game significantly after that.  The entire full forward line scored in the next three possessions.  Lycrecia Quinn, Jolene Donnelly and Cathy Donnelly have all kicked lovely points.  Cork got the very final score of the half from Juliet Murphy to leave the half time score.  Tyrone 0-7 Cork 0-6

Thirty two minutes gone and the sides are now level at 0-4 apiece.  Jolene Donnelly levelled the scores at 0-2 each in the 23rd minute before Juilet Murphy slotted a free for Cork a short time later.  Cathy Donnelly then fired the Red Hand girls in front with two brilliant scores from play.  The sides were all square after 29 minutes when Valerie Mulcahy kicked her second free of the half for Cork.  Cork then are yet to score from play.

Twenty minutes gone and Cork now lead 0-2 to 0-1.  Julliet Murphy and Valerie Mulcahy have both slotted frees for Cork.  Linda Donnelly has been replaced by Laura McGillion on a Tyrone team which has been slightly guilty of overcarrying the ball.

Ten minutes gone in Killyclogher and so far we’ve only had about four minutes football due to injury.  Tyrone have taken an early lead thanks to a Cathy Donnelly point from the right hand side of goal.  Cork have named a hugely experienced team.
