The draw for the quarter finals of the MacRory Cup took place in Belfast on Monday afternoon. St.Patricks Academy Dungannon, who are among the favourites to go all the way, take on neighbours St.Pats Armagh in a contest that will see Ciaran Gourley go head to head with county colleagues John Devine and Davy Harte along the line. Omagh CBS have been drawn to play St.Marys Magherafelt, the Derry lads managed by Loughmacrory man John McElholm. Elsewhere McCormick Cup winners St.Michaels Enniskillen, who include Trillick duo Rory Brennan and Richard Donnelly among their ranks, face St.Macartans Monaghan while there could be a Newry derby on the cards providing Jody Gormley’s Abbey CBS get past Lurgan, MacRory and Hogan holders St.Colmans due to meet the winners of that play off. All four quarter finals are down for decision on the first weekend of February.
