Masters Make Semis

Tyrone masters remain undefeated after six games this season with Laois being the latest team to fall to the Red Hands.
The Leinster men, with Colm Parkinson and Greg Ramsbottom among their charges, travelled to Drumlish on Saturday afternoon for their game against last year’s beaten finalists.
Unfortunately for Laois they found Joe Leonard’s side a tough nut to crack and were defeated 0-22 to 0-11.
This result ensures that Tyrone have qualified for the semi finals once again and that achievement is down to the hard work done by a very dedicated group of people involved with the Masters Competition.
Special word of congratulations to the Tyrone folk involved with the Irish Masters team that defeated Australia 87 to 29 in the recent fiftieth anniversary match of the Paddy Gaffney Cup.
Joe Leonard was of course joint manager of the team along with Jimmy Galligan while Eamon Mc Elroy (Galbally) and Eoin Gormley (Trillick) were both involved in the series itself.
