This Sunday will hopefully see the first competitive action of 2011 for the Tyrone senior team as they take on neighbours Donegal in the opening fixture of this year’s Barrett Lighting Mc Kenna Cup.

These teams faced each other in last year’s final which will probably be best remembered for the serious elbow injury suffered by star forward Stephen O’Neill. Played under lights in Enniskilen on a frost affected surface the Clan na Gael man picked up the injury following an accidental clash with county colleague Kevin Hughes.
