McAliskey Set To Be Crowned Top Scorer

With the last round of fixtures in the regular season in division one down for decision this weekend its safe to assume who will be crowned Begleys Sports division one top scorer for 2012. Leader Conor McAliskey was on fire last weekend when hitting 3-7 in Clonoe’s win over Killyclogher and he isn’t going to be caught now and the big question is can he get five points in his last outing to break the one hundred point barrier? Shane Mulgrew was the inaugural winner twelve months ago but the Donaghmore sharpshooter will have to settle for second place this time round. Ardboe’s Michael Hagan is in third spot after breaking the sixty point barrier last weekend while Richard Donnelly and Eoin McCusker enter the top tem.
