Teenager Ronan Cassidy was in sparkling form for Donaghmore with 2-8 to his name as the St.Patricks overcame defending league champions Trillick in their opening game and he was the D1 Hotshot by doing so. Conor Donaghy kicked 0-10 including a long range free with the last kick of the game as Galbally edged out Eglish, Luke Donnelly with 1-5 in the same game. Tiernan Quinn weighed in with 0-8 for Coalisland but it wasn’t enough to beat Omagh, Ronan O’Neill with half a dozen points for the St.Endas. Colm MacRory, Paul Donaghy, Lorcan McGarrity, Conor Mallon and Lee Brennan all made the list due to their scoring exploits.
