McGarrity A Doubt For MacRory Final

Aidan McGarrity faces a race against time to be able to play any part in Thursday’s eagerly awaited MacRory Cup final with holders St.Colmans Newry. The Rock clubman came on as a substitute in the semi final win over St.Michaels Enniskillen and scored a superb goal late in the game and was pushing for a place in the starting fifteen.
“He went over on his ankle last week and he is not training at the minute but hopefully he should be okay. He has come on in both matches and made an impact especially with that late goal in the semi final against Enniskillen. He has always been a great finisher and thankfully he did it again for us at that time as it was a crucial score”, said manager Ciaran Gourley.
