Enda McGinley has confirmed with Mickey Harte that he will not be returning to the Tyrone panel in 2012. Enda took part in the Westport Sea2Summit Race for the Marie Curie at the weekend alongside John Devine and Stephen O’Neill.
In recent years he has suffered from a range of injuries which have limited his appearances including a fractured neck following the 2003 All Ireland Final.
McGinley first represented Tyrone in 1998 when he captured an Ulster and minor All Ireland medal under Mickey Harte. He was part of the all conquering Tyrone U21 team which claimed three Ulster Championships in a row and two All Ireland titles back to back. Enda has also helped the Red Hands to four Ulster Senior Championships and three senior All Ireland titles.
