Moy retained their grade 2 U21 title in dramatic fashion at Pairc Chormaic in Eglish on Thursday evening when they came from behind to beat Killeeshil in an entertaining decider.

Killeeshil were the better side for most of the game and deservedly led 0-10 to 0-5 at the break thanks to points from Pascal Donaghy, Tomas Hoy and team Captain Darragh Hamill, Francie Kelly, Michael Conroy and Calum Fleming on target for the holders.

An early second half goal from Tom Loughran cut the deficit to the minimum but Killeeshil wasted no time in responding. Cormac Donaghy, Pascal Donaghy and Hoy had points with Pascal also finding the net as Killeeshil led 1-16 to 1-9 going into the final quarter.

With seven minutes to go a Diarmuid McKeown goal gave Moy hope and when the same player found the net again five minutes later it was all square. In the next attack a high delivery in from McKeown was flicked to the net by Fleming as Moy produced an amazing comeback to win on a 4-11 to 1-17 scoreline.
