Promotion of Hurling/Club Officer Training

Wednesday 26.01.2011
Team Talk Mag
Club

History will be made on Wednesday 2nd February, when, for the first time ever, officers, committee members and supporters of very GAC in Tyrone will come together to chat about hurling in theParish Centre, Killyclogher.

This is an open invitation to anyone who has ever played or has any interest in hurling. You will be very welcome if you have ever been at a game in Tyrone; ever attended an Ulster, Munster, Leinster or All Ireland final; ever been excited by the spectacle and atmosphere of a big game as brought to you by television; ever chatted about the thrills and skills to your friends and workmates the following week.

If you can tick “yes” to any of the above then Killyclogher is the place for you on Wednesday night. Please note that this invitation is open to male and female alike.

The club representatives who attended a recent Development Day in Omagh Convent have already made a pledge to attend as have the Club representatives on the County Board.  We are now inviting club officers, members and supporters to join them.  The more the better.

Following on from the hurling promotional session there will be a workshop for club officers (Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer, PRO and Development Officer) providing guidelines on how to help them fulfil their various duties as Club Officer.  Each workshop will be delivered by a member of the County Management Committee.

The evening will commence at 8:15pm sharp in the Parish Hall, Killyclogher.
