Rock bounced back from the disappointment of losing the league final to win the grade 3 U13 Championship title with an impressive display against Moortown at Cookstown on Wednesday evening.
Joel Kerr bagged four goals for the winners with Fionn Daly weighing in with 2-3. Ryan McElduff got the other goal for the winners while Ronan Loughran, Callum Hughes and Odhran Carroll weighed in with nine points between them. Jamie Mallon top scored for Moortown with 2-3 to his name with Cormac Gilligan bagging their other goal and Ciaran Murphy contributing three points. Rock led 3-7 to 1-3 at the break and when Kerr got his third goal early in the second half they never looked back.
