Schools Coaching Proving A Success

Tyrone County Board organised the first of their indoor blitzes on Monday last. The blitz gave the children the opportunity to show off their skills acquired since the start of term. Fiachra McNulty, the Tyrone coach commented;
“I’m delighted with the turnout today. Three Strabane schools were in attendance and on this showing, the renewed focus on coaching in the schools, is starting to pay off.”
Sigersons Coaching Officer Ciaran McLaughlin added;
“The first term has established our coaching programme in the Primary Schools. The feedback from all schools is excellent and the club are delighted with the response. In 2020, with the commitment of the schools already secured, we will continue to coach across the Schools in collaboration with the County Coaches Fiachra McNulty and Ryan Keenan, the Ulster Council coach Geraldine McLaughlin and our own coach Stephen Beattie”.
A huge thanks to all the schools and coaches involved for this continued promotion of Gaelic Games in Strabane town.
