Unfortunately it was not to be as Sperrin Og’s superb run in this year’s Feile came to an end following a 4-8 to 1-1 defeat at the hands of Simonstown of Meath. The Leinster side were much bigger and stronger and their greater physical strength told in the end. However the Greencastle girls can feel rightly proud of their achievements this weekend and will take great heart from the three victories that saw them win the group.
