The Tyrone v Monaghan Cremartin Cup under 21 game was switched from Omagh to Trillick this afternoon. The home side currently lead at the break 1-06 to 0-07 after coming from two points down twenty five minutes into the opening period during which Eglish player Gregory Jordan landed two magnificent points for Tyrone. Omagh’s Conan Grugan hit a goal and a point in the closing five minutes to put his side two points ahead at the short whistle. Should Tyrone win this they are expected to progress in the competition being unbeaten thus far in the season.

Tyrone continued to play confidently and built on their solid first half with excellent displays from Tommy Canavan, Hugh Pat Mc Geary, Ritchie Donnelly, Darren Mc Curry and Niall Sludden with Mc Geary in particular turning in a real man of the match display at corner back. Brian Mc Garvey and john Mc Cullagh were also among the scorers for Tyrone. The same two sides are now through to the final of The Cremartin Cup but no date nor venue has been decided as of yet.
Final score from Trillick Tyrone 1-15 Monaghan 0-10.
