Tyrone Defeat Derry in Minor League.

Tyrone have produced a fine wind assisted first half to lead Derry 1-7 to 0-1 at half time. Lee Brennan has been the most impressive player in the first half with 0-5 to his name while midfielder Ronan Nugent has put in a strong first half showing in the middle of the field. Derry opened the scoring in the third minute with a point from Caolan Diamond but Tyrone dominated the play and made good use of the elements to build a 0-6 to 0-1 lead by the 20th minute. Tyrone scored a fine team goal 26 minutes in when Daire Gallagher finished a flowing move to the net. They finished the half strongly but could rue the ten first half wides they hit many of them from very comfortable positions.
Tyrone faced the elements in the second half but continued to dominate the play. They created several great goal chances but it took a fine finish from sub Phillip Donnelly following a great pass from Daniel Lowe before Tyrone finally hit the net. The Red Hands bossed the second half and added three points to their first half total as they emerged worthy winners to make it two wins from two starts on a final score line of 2-10 to 1-2.
