Ulster GAA Coaching And Games Development Conference

The 8th Coaching and Games Development Conference targets coaches who are working within education. It embraces coaching across all age groups and has been scheduled in consultation with Cumman na mBunscol, Ulster Vocational and Colleges and Further and Higher Education. The Conference praises the excellent work being done within education to promote our games. It recognises the increasing pressures within education and how we can face up to new challenges.
In addition to some very interesting key note speakers there will be lots of opportunities to participate in workshops presented during the day that will raise and deal with many pertinent issues in educating young athletes today.
2012 Conference is scheduled for Saturday 28th January at the Glenavon House Hotel in Cookstown with the words of welcome due to take place at 8:59 am so it looks like being an early start for all. However it promises to be a very interesting and informative day and will focus on Gaelic Games in Education – teachers, coaches and educationalists are encouraged to participate.
