3 Colleges All Stars For Tyrone Students

The Danske Bank Colleges All Stars were announced on Monday afternoon with three Tyrone schools and three Tyrone students receiving recognition on the football team. St Ciaran’s Ballygawley, Holy Trinity Cookstown and Holy Cross Strabane were the three schools recognised but only one of those winners came from Tyrone. Owen Roes’ star Cathal Mc Shane became the first ever Holy Cross student to win a colleges all star when he was named on the team.
Mc Shane was part of the Tyrone minor side that lost last year’s All Ireland Final to Mayo and he was joined on the all star team by fellow county minors Conor Mc Kenna (St Pat’s Armagh) and Lee Brennan (St Michael’s Enniskillen). This is Brennan’s second consecutive all star award having also been part of last year’s selection.
