Twelve months after winning the Junior league Aghaloo are back down in division three football for next season after losing out to Strabane in their sudden death play off encounter at Sigerson Park on Sunday afternoon. Aghaloo had a strong wind at their backs in the first half but they failed to make it count as they kicked a number of wides. Gerard McCaughey, Brian McKenna and Martin McCarron had points for the visitors with John Paul Gallagher kicking all three of the Sigersons first half scores. Stephen Donnelly scored a last minute Aghaloo goal to enable them to lead 1-4 to 0-3 at the break but they failed to register in the second half. Strabane took control with the elements in their favour and points from Brendan McLaughlin, Warner Mullan and Fergal McGavigan coupled with a late Gallagher goal left them 1-10 to 1-4 winners.
