All Ireland Semi Final Appointment For Cathal

Tyrone refereeing has received a major boost with the news that Cathal O’Hagan has been appointed to take charge of this Sunday’s All Ireland minor semi final between Meath and Mayo at Croke Park. The Brackaville clubman handled last season’s Ulster minor championship decider and only last month he travelled to England to referee Lancashire and Mayo in the All Ireland Junior championship. His latest appointment is another step up the ladder and it comes at a time when there are currently no Tyrone referees on the National senior championship panel but hopefully that is something that is set to change in the near future.
