Carrickmore Eire Óg Claim League Title

Carrickmore Eire Óg endured quite a test of character on Tuesday evening when they came back from six points down at one stage to defeat Lisbellaw 4-13 to 1-21 and secure the 2023 Tyrone Senior Hurling League title.
The home side led at the break 0-11 to 1-6 with the Eire Óg goal coming from Aidy Kelly who finished the game with a personal tally of 1-6. With the league title at stake Eire Óg were much improved after the break and second half goals proved key with two from Sean Óg Grogan and one from Ciaran Donovan.
That win ensured the league title would be going back to Pairc Eire Óg.
