Fiachra McNulty proved to be the Gortin hero with a late winning point as they denied a battling Clogher side a share off the spoils. The Eire Ogs led 1-7 to 1-5 at the interval with Fergal McKenna getting an early goal and Rory McElroy, Finbar McCaughey and Mark bogue hitting points. Liam Og Mossey hit 1-2 in the first half for Gortin with Dsean McKenna getting their other three points. Mossey added another seven points after the break with Sean Og McAleer getting a goal but Clogher hit back with two McKenna goals to complete his hattrick and Ryan McCaughey also finding the net, It looked like ending in stalemate until McNulty hit that winner.

 

Moy remain close on their heels after overcoming Greencastle at home despite being without the Intermediate leading marksman Michael Conroy. In his absence his brothers Ryan and Declan both scored goals as did Matthew Laverty while Ryan Coleman and Steve Donaghy were among the points. Greencastle fought back from seven down in the second half to get their noses in front with Sean Warnock getting their goal and Enda Clarke, Chrissy Gillen, Ryan Gumley and Mark Carson kicking 0-10 between them but a late Ryan Conroy goal won it for the hosts.

 

Stewartstown came out on top at St.Marys Park against Beragh in a high scoring encounter. Dan Lowe, Shea O’Neill, Shea Burke and Eoghan O’Donnell all had points for the Harps with Lowe and O’Neill getting their goals. Callum Corrigan and Ben McSorley got the goals for the Red Knights while their leading marksman Conor Owens landed an impressive nine points but it still wasn’t enough for the home side.

 

It finished honours even at Clanabogan between Drumragh and Kildress. Corey Holland got the goal for the visitors with Shea Murphy, Pauric Lagan, Shea Quinn and Caolan McNamee landing ten points between them. Eoin Montgomery and Niall McCarney hit 0-9 between them with Tommy Murphy and Shane Devine getting a brace each with McCarney the hero with a late equaliser from a placed ball.

 

Derrylaughan were made to work hard at home to come out on top against Fintona. Not for the first time the Kevin Barrys leading marksman proved to be Tomas Carney with 0-7 to his name with other points coming from Conor Hughes, Stephen McGrath and Brian Kennedy. Aaron McCarney, Peter McGlinn, Aiden Donnelly, Pauric Kelly and Connor McGoldrick were the Fintona marksmen on the night.

 

Aghyaran made the long haul to play Rock and it proved to be a successful one as they turned on the style to record an emphatic victory. Ronan McHugh was in brilliant form for the St.Davogs with 2-7 to his name with Paddy McNulty weighing in with 2-2 and Eoghan McHugh 1-2. The Rock’s goal came from a second half Aidan McGarrity penalty on a night when Shea Daly, Padraig Mullan and Conor Ward were among their points.
