Derrylaughan moved joint top of the table after winning at Cookstown. Tomas Carney, Fergal McAliskey and Ciaran Quinn had points for the Kevin Barrys with James Donnelly getting their goal. John Gilmore got both goals for the Father Rocks.
A last gasp Cathal Brown point made sure that Aghyaran are level at the top after they had to pull out all the stops at Moortown. Brian McLernon got the only goal of the game with Conor Herron and Benny Gallen providing points for their sides.
Goals proved the difference as Augher denied Eglish an opportunity to go joint top with an impressive nine point victory at Connolly Park.Declan Connolly hit 1-4, Darragh Kavanagh 1-3 and Raymond McElroy bagged their other goal. Seamus Muldoon kicked half a dozen points for the hosts with Emmett McKenna on target as well.
Niall McElroy scored 1-5 as Aghaloo secured a fine win away to Gortin. Ruairi and Peter Keenan got 0-3 each for the hosts with Sean McAleer scoring 0-4.
Cathal Donaghy and Cathair Gallagher scored 3-9 between them as Loughmacrory made home advantage count against Moy. Ryan Coleman and Declan Conroy weighed in with 0-11 for the visitors.
Dan Lowe, Peter Armour, Cathal Devlin, Greg Kelly and Paul Dillon all notched points as Stewartstown’s recent good run continued with a win at Kildress. Martin Grimes hit 1-2 for the Wolfe Tones with Philip Lennon and Mattie McGuigan both on target as well as they remain just clear of the danger zone.
Patrick Molloy got four points and Colm Corrigan a goal but Dungannon’s title hopes took a knock when they were held at home by Castlederg. Sean Harper and Mark Corry were among the points for the St.Eugenes.
Aidan McGarrity’s fifth point of the afternoon saw Rock rescue a precious share of the spoils at Eskra in a meeting between the bottom two. Ryan Crilly had three points while Padraig Ward got the Rock goal. Joe McCarroll led the way in the scoring stakes for the Emmetts with 0-5 to his name while Peter Hughes got three points.
