Thursday 03.08.2023

Clonoe made it nine wins out of nine in Division two when they proved too strong for Moy at O’Rahilly Park on Thursday evening. The league leaders were well on their way to victory by halftime after establishing a healthy 3-8 to 1-5 advantage with Connor McAliskey converting two penalties with Fintan McClure getting their third goal. Ryan Coleman got the Moy major with Michael Conroy among their points.
There was no let-up from the hosts in the second half as Dwayne Quinn, McAliskey, McClure and Daryl Magee all tagged on points with Ronan Corey and Danny McNulty both finding the net. Conroy had another few points with defender Paddy Lavery also on target but it was Clonoe’s night as it finished 5-15 to 1-11.
