Moy produced a stunning second half display at the Athletic Grounds in Armagh on Sunday afternoon to book their place in the Ulster Intermediate final at the expense of Derry champions Newbridge.

Declan Conroy opened the scoring after a dozen seconds for the Tyrone champions but despite having the wind at their backs it was a first half to forget for Moy. Conor Doherty, Michael Bateson, Danny Mulholland and Eamonn Burns had Newbridge points as they deservedly led 0-8 to 0-4 at the break, Sean Cavanagh with a trio of points for Moy.

The second half proved to be a totally different story as Moy threw off the shackles and began to run at the Newbridge defence. The strong running of Ryan Coleman, Eunan Deeney, Harry Loughran and the Cavanagh brothers Colm and Sean caused untold problems for Newbridge.

Loughran hit a contender for goal of the season after going past four or five challenges and thumping the ball into the roof of the net. Conroy, Deeney and substitutes Conall Duffy and Patrick Lavery all registered while Sean Cavanagh landed four further frees. Bateson flicked in a Newbridge goal but Loughran popped up with another cool finish as Moy ran out 2-15 to 1-9 winners.
