Wolfe Tones Lift U14 Grade 3 League Title

A blistering start at Paddy Cullen Park in Cookstown paved the way for an emphatic win for Kildress over Edendork in the grade three U14 league final on Wednesday evening. Gavin Connolly, Aaron McKenna and Eoghan McGurk all found the net for the winners as they took a grip on proceedings and never looked back. Fiachra Nelis and Conor Mallon had points for Edendork but further goals from Connolly and Oisin McDonald left Kildress in control.
To their credit Edendork battled gamely in the second half with Mallon grabbing a goal and Patrick McLernon among their points but they were always fighting a losing battle. Tiernan McNally and Cathal Heagney added further goals for a Kildress side who added the league title to their Feile crown and who also have a championship semi final coming up shortly against Moortown.
